A Day at Duckback Labs

Living in NC provides its residents with an opportunity to have four wonderful seasons. We delighted in showing you the winter pictures with snow which doesn’t fall very frequently. However, we love the spring. Calves are born, flowers bloom, and it is truly a new beginning. Let’s take a stroll from the top of the driveway at the mailbox, down the driveway and wind around the farm where one can experience the new green grass, the blooming flowers, the newness of life. Then, at the end of day, come sit back and relax as the water trickles over the rocks on Brush Creek. Please remember that you are always welcome to come and visit to enjoy our Labs, animals, and yes, the beauty of Nature with us.

Our love of Labradors began around 1976 when we resided in Wake County. We lived there for over 31 years, but had to relocate when our farm became surrounded by suburban sprawl.
We feel most fortunate to have found our wonderful farm in Randolph County. It gives us an opportunity to give our Labs a wonderful place to run, swim and play. Since animals are our passion, we also have a collection of other 4 legged friends. The pictures here are shown in order that you can also take a leisurely walk through the woods and throughout our farm.

A New Activity
We have recently written a short article about our Labs work at the VA hospital, "A New Opportunity For Sharing a Lab's Love" . Please read it.
